For most, 50mg per day will be more than ample to see big strength and mass gains during a typical 6 week cycle. One to two stone of weight gain is common from an Anadrol cycle. Some of the weight gained will be water due to Anadrol’s tenancy to cause a fair bit of water retention (see side effects section below) but make no mistake, a lot of muscle mass will be laid down and retained post cycle thanks to the hormone’s highly anabolic nature.

Anadrol is a DHT-derived compound, and is 17-Alpha-Alkylated steroid, meaning that it has been altered at the 17th carbon position to survive oral ingestion. Most oral steroids are 17aa, and this helps them make it through your liver in a useful form.
